Overview

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $16.10 to $21+. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience

The Lead Culinary Assistant is responsible for supervising dining room meal service to residents, event set up, stocking and cleaning. This food service schedule includes;

The Trails of Orono Senior Living community is located in a serene wooded setting just west of Minneapolis near Highways 12 and I-494 in Wayzata, MN.  Managed by Ebenezer, we host 59 units amongst our Independent/Assisted Living and Memory care residential settings. Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Serves meals and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting 
  • Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness 
  • Assists with meal prep and special events 
  • Trains and supervises Culinary Assistants 
  • Completes task sheets and cleaning management 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising in a similar environment helpful 
  • Excellent customer service skills, teamwork and positive demeanor required 
  • Desire to work with seniors

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date. Accommodations requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
