Overview

  • New On Call Rates of Pay of $47 per hour

The RN Charge leads, supervises and directs and/or delegates all nursing functions on assigned unit or floor to assure care is provided per plan of care. This position demonstrates sound leadership skills through problem solving and decision making.  They are responsible to monitor compliance with State and Federal regulations as well as Ebenezer Standards.

Nursing schedule includes; 

  • This is an on call/casual position
  • Requires working 3 shifts per month and 1 holiday per year
  • Day/Evening Shifts

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center is part of a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs,  Intergenerational Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care.  We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN.  Minneapolis /St. Paul Magazine named us a Top Senior Community in 2021. U.S. News and World Report named us a Best Nursing Home 2020-2022

Responsibilities/Job Description

 

  • Assures Care Plan, medical records and other documentation are up to date
  • Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • Reports problem areas to management and provides suggestions and solutions
  • Serves as facility supervisor and assumes administrative responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Associates RN Degree, BSN preferred
• One to proven experience required, Three to five years preferred
• Previous LTC management experience preferred
• Current MN RN license by start date
• CPR /BLS certified

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
