Overview

We are searching for an Activities Director at Ebenezer! 

 

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $22.00 to $29.00+. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

 

The Activities Director leads all planning and implementing of a quality leisure and social events program crafted to assist senior Assisted Living/Memory  Care residents in maintaining their personal potential both physically and mentally.   This leadership position will be responsible for  all aspects of the activities department and team.

  • 80 hours per two week pay period, may require evenings and weekends as needed. 
  • Part of Manager on Duty weekend rotation

Opening the Spring of 2023!  The Pillars of Lakeville, MN  will bring the best of senior living to the Twin Cities’ fastest-growing community. This breathtaking new community will offer 100 senior apartments including independent and assisted living units as well as a carefully crafted memory care neighborhood on the first floor with a patio courtyard. 

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Develops program and activities reflective of resident interests
  • Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents
  • Coordinates community volunteers

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Recreational Therapy or related Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred 
  • Three to five years previous experience preferred
  • Able to drive a 14 passenger van

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
