The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our Skilled Nursing Care Center in Lake City, MN.

Nursing schedule includes;

• 64 Hours every two weeks, Evening shifts
• Self scheduling. Pick your own hours!

Lake City Care Center serves South East Minnesota and is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer (MN largest senior living operator).  At any given time, as many as 90 people call the care center their home.  The care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.

• Provides professional nursing cares and treatments
• Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
• Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status

• Required:

  • MN LPN licensure
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
  • Able to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  Preferred:

  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
