Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our Skilled Nursing (TCU/LTC) facility in Lake City, MN 

 

Part-time Nursing schedule includes;

    • 24 Hours every two weeks, 12 hour shifts
    • Self scheduling. Pick your own hours!
    • Partial Benefit Eligible; https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits  (education scholarships, paid personal time, retirement monies)

Lake City Care Center in SouthEast Minnesota is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer.  At any given time, as many as 90 people call the care center their home. The care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital in Lake City, MN so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Provides professional nursing cares and treatments
  • Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
  • Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • MN LPN licensure by start date
    • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers by start date
    • Able to work independently
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    Preferred:

    • Previous healthcare experience
    • Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
