Overview

 

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $15.00 to $22.00+. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

Riley Crossing Childcare Center opened in 2019 and is located in Chanhassen, MN near Hwy 101 and County Road 212.  our innovative on-site intergenerational childcare provides interactive programming with our senior residents at our onsite assisted living and memory care. Managed by Ebenezer, our mission is to heal, discover, educate for longer, healthier, more meaningful lives.   

 

At Riley Crossing Child Care, we are looking for an Assistant Child Care Teacher to support Ebenezer’s Intergenerational program by caring for and teaching the children in their assigned age group. Assistants will teach, plan and organize childcare program activities to ensure that the program provides the highest quality childcare available.

 

Early Education Assistant Teacher schedule includes;

  • 40 hours every two weeks
  • Monday- Friday

Responsibilities/Job Description

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum
  • Maintaining a child friendly and orderly classroom
  • Implementing effective guidance and support strategies
  • Coordinate and contribute to the teaching team
  • Supervises health, safety, and overall well being of children at all times
  • Participates in program areas such as intergeneration activities
  • Maintaining certification in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, SUIDS/AHT.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

High School Diploma- Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota 9503.0033

Preferred Education

Two years full time post-secondary education with 9 quarter or 6 semester early childhood/child psychology or related field coursework.

Must meet Department of Human Services Rule 3 assistant teacher qualifications

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date. Accommodations requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
