Overview

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $34 to $43+. All Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines.

 

Nursing schedule includes;

    • This is a casual/on call position
    • Requires working 3 shifts per month with one shift being a weekend and 1 holiday per year

Located along bustling University Avenue near the 694 interchange and adjacent to the M Health Fairview Fridley Clinic and Pharmacy. Getting to work couldn’t be easier due to the convenience of being located right on the bus line and near the Northstar light rail station! 

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual care plan
  • Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • Assesses and supervises resident goals and revises, modify care plans as needed
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • Current MN RN license or by start date
    • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

    Preferred:

    • Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
    • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
    • Good written and verbal communication skills while interacting with residents, families and physicians or providers
    • Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
