Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $22.19 to $28.00+. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility! This role provides hands on care and support services for our senior residents.

This patient support position includes;

• 32 hours in two weeks
• Day shift
• Every other weekend and typically a Holiday rotation

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center is a multi-award winning nursing and care community in Burnsville. We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital, and conveniently located at the I-35E and I-35W split. The Care Center offers short-term and long-term skilled nursing care and services for seniors needing daily assistance or ongoing nursing care. • Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
• Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals
• AM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter care
• May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner
• Chart or document in electronic medical record system
• Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns
• Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
• Other duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner

Required:

• Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry
• If hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry

Preferred:

• Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
• Communicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers
• Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant
• Work experience in a customer service setting
