The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU -Sub acute residents/patients physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines for our innovative Transitional Care Unit in Edina, MN.

 

The self-scheduling nursing schedules include;

  • On Call, Casual Hours; Work 3 Shifts Per Month and 1 Holiday per year
  • Manageable TCU RN to Patient Ratio of 1:10
  • FREE Heated Underground Parking Available

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual care plan
  • Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • RN – Assesses resident goals and revises, modify care plans as vital
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current MN RN license or by start date
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
