Overview

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with competitive benefits and wages ranging from $28.66 - 30.58 per hour. All Wage determinations will be based on similar experience. Evening and night shift differential pay
  • This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus! 

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our Skilled Nursing Facility.

 

Full-time Nursing schedule includes;

    • 60 hours every 2 weeks, every third weekend rotation
    • Day/evening, 12 hour shifts
    • Full Benefit Eligible; https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits (paid personal time, education scholarships, retirement monies, medical, dental)

Lake City Care Center in SouthEast Minnesota is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer. The care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital in Lake City, MN so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Provides professional nursing cares and treatments
  • Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
  • Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • MN LPN licensure
    • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
    • Able to work independently
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    Preferred:

    • Previous healthcare experience
    • Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
