Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $20.90 - 26.00 / hour . Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

The Prairie Island Indian Community, a federally recognized Mdewakanton Dakota Tribe, developed Tinta Wita Tipi- an assisted living lodge to serve all seniors by bringing together aging residents from the surrounding communities. Tinta Wita Tipi wishes to celebrate its Dakota and community elders through honor, care and respect while encouraging family involvement. This newer 20 unit, breathtakingly crafted single-story assisted living is located on 18 acres of tribal land in Welch, MN near Highway 61 not far from Red Wing or Hastings. We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the residents’ physical and emotional well-being.

This caregiver schedule includes;

• 48 hours per two weeks
• Night shift; 10:30PM-6:30AM
• Every other weekend rotation and rotating holiday

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
• May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
• Assists with onboarding of new staff

Required Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
• CNA certificated if under 18

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

• High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
