Overview

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $22.19 - $28.00 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA, NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is responsible for providing hands on care and support services for our senior residents at Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington MN.

This patient support position includes;

0 scheduled hours in 2 weeks
Casual/on call day, evening, night shifts
Required to work 3 shifts per month with one being a weekend and one holiday per year

Responsibilities/Job Description

Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals
AM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter care
May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner
Chart or document in electronic medical record system
Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns
Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
Other duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner

Qualifications

Required:

Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry
If hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry

Preferred:

Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
Communicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers
Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant
Work experience in a customer service setting

Vaccination Update
