Overview

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and starting wage of $15.30- $19 per hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

 

We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our team. This position participates in providing a total quality dining service program. This includes detailed cleaning of dishware, flatware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, equipment, and facilities to meet sanitation standards. Position may also perform a variety of food preparation duties such as preparing cold foods and shellfish, slicing meat, and brewing coffee or tea. This nutrition services schedule includes;

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Washes and ensures dishes, pots and pans, and utensils are at the highest standards of cleanliness
  • May assist with special events as needed
  • Ensures the proper use of equipment and supplies and upholds cleaning and safety standards
  • Performs cleaning, mopping, sweeping, garbage removal, and dusting kitchen and dining room
  • Reports to the Cook or Culinary Director any equipment and supplies that are needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • Approved Food Sanitation Safety Course - must be acquired within first 90-days

Preferred:

  • 1-3 years previous experience, but not required
  • High school diploma/GED
