Overview

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with competitive benefits and wages ranging from $29 -$37 per hour. All Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures. 

  • 80 hours in two weeks
  • Evening shifts; Every other weekend rotation/holidays

The Sanctuary of Brooklyn Center is managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota’s largest senior housing operator.  We are located near public transportation and crossroads of I-694, I-94 and Highway 100 in Brooklyn Center, MN.  The Sanctuary provides programming around our residents emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs. Our Brooklyn Center community host 158 units in combination of Assisted Living and Memory Care. Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices
  • Lifts and transfer residents as needed, Initiates emergency treatment as needed
  • Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
  • Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status
  • Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals
  • May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans

Qualifications

Required:

  • MN LPN licensure
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
  • Able to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
