Overview

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package for Maintenance Assistants with excellent benefits and wages starting from $18.65 - $24 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on related experience.

 

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to support our senior living community. This maintenance position is responsible for supervising preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment and grounds keeping for the Senior Assisted Living community in Savage, MN

* NO boilers license required.

 

This part-time repairs/grounds/maintenance position includes the following : 

  • 40 hours in two weeks
  • Day/Evening Shift Hours, with weekends as needed

Savage Senior Living at Fen Pointe is located on a 288-acre area that features a wetland in the South Twin Cities suburb of Savage, MN, near Burnsville and Shakopee crossroads of Highways 13, 169, 35 W. We’re proud to be the first senior living community in the City of Savage with a variety of senior living options including senior living, assisted living, enhanced and memory care. Our staff is long tenured and they believe in Ebenezer’s mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, meaningful lives.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Repairs and maintains work orders for residents' individual living apartment homes and community spaces
  • Keeps grounds and walkways free from obstructions including snow removal, and operating motorized grounds equipment
  • Monitors and performs basic repairs to HVAC, security, safety, electrical and plumbing equipment
  • Apartment turnovers

Qualifications

 

  • One to three years previous experience in a similar environment
  • Vocation/Technical training preferred
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Desire to work with older adults

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
