We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join senior care & living team in Bloomington, MN near nine mile creek! This support position is responsible for providing personal cares and designated health-related services, passing medications to enhance and/or maintain the senior age residents’ physical and emotional wellbeingThis caregiver schedule includes;

  • 0 hours every two weeks
  • Casual/on-call (day/evening/overnight)
  • 3 shifts a month, 1 being on the weekend

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
  • Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
  • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
  • Serves as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment  
  • Assists with onboarding of new staff



  • Must be 18 years of age or CNA certification required if under 18
  • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor
  • Desire to work with seniors
  • Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff


  • High School diploma or GED
  • Completion of a formal CNA or HHA course
  • Previous caretaking experience
