This Registered Nurse/RN role would be responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the home care clients are met for our busy Assisted Living and Memory Care (Meadow Woods) in beautiful Bloomington, MN at 1301 E 100th Street. 

Nursing schedule includes;

• Full-time; 72 hours in two weeks
• Evening shift, flexible schedule
• Every third weekend rotation

As part of the Martin Luther Campus Senior Community, Meadow Woods Assisted Living is a residential setting by woodlands, wetlands and the Minnesota River Bluffs. • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• RN – Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Required:

• Current MN RN license or by start date
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred:

• Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to get along with residents, families and physicians or providers
• Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
