Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care /Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and follows established policies and procedures.  Aurora on France TCU transitional care unit is located in Edina, MN and close to south Minneapolis.

 

Nursing schedule includes;

    • 64 hours in per two weeks
    • Day shift
    • Every other weekend and holiday rotations

    • RN student loan repayment, up to $10,000!
    • Manageable TCU RN to Patient Ratio of 1:10

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
  • Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • RN – Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current MN RN license or by start date
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
  • (3 week grace period for BLS) 

Preferred:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to get along with residents, families and physicians or providers
  • Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
