    Aurora on France is a new, state of the art community, attached to Fairview Southdale in the heart of Edina near many medical centers/providers.  It is conveniently located off of Hwy. 62 and France Ave.  on a bus line. Aurora is a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care.     The Nurse Manager is responsible for continuity of nursing care by delegating, directing and monitoring nursing care delivered on a 21-bed Pod within the larger 63-bed TCU.  They join a team of two other Nurse Managers and a Director of Nursing.  The positon is scheduled M-F and includes being part of an on-call Nurse rotation. 

     

    This position is eligible for a $3000 Retention Bonus paid out in increments over the first year of employment.

    Responsibilities/Job Description

    • Leads, supervises and directs and/or delegates all nursing functions on assigned 21-bed pod to assure care is provided per plan of care
    • Assures staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, Nursing Standards of Practice and Ebenezer Quality Assurance Standards
    • Assures Care Plan, medical records and other documentation are up to date
    • Reports problem areas to management and provides suggestions and solutions
    • Serves as facility supervisor and assumes administrative responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Associates Degree, BSN preferred
    • One to three years’ experience required, three to five years preferred
    • Previous LTC management experience preferred
    • Current MN RN license
    • CPR certified
