The Prairie Island Indian Community, a federally recognized Mdewakanton Dakota Tribe, developed this elder assisted living lodge designed to serve members of the tribal community, as well as the City of Welch and the surrounding community at large. Tinta Wita Tipi wishes to celebrate its Dakota and community elders through honor, care and respect while encouraging family involvement. The beautifully designed single-story building is located on 18 acres of tribal land in Welch, MN and focuses on incorporating Dakota culture and community into the assisted living setting. Our staff is local and believes in Ebenezer’s mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, meaningful lives.

The Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide is responsible for providing personal care and designated health related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents’ physical and emotional well-being. This is a full time position on the evening shift (.375 FTE/30 hours) 4pm-9pm every other weekend, and rotating holidays.
