Overview

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $15 to $20+. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

The Adult Day Program Assistant will support The Director with efficient operation of the program, planning and implementation of programming needs of individual participants, groups and assist with personal care duties of the participants in our Ebenezer Burnsville, MN Senior Care Campus. We are located between highways 35 and 35E and close to public transportation.

  • 76 hours in two weeks, Day shift

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center is part of a full continuum senior care campus, located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN. Our Skilled nursing facility host 114 beds between its Long Term and Transitional Care building. Additionally, we offer an Adult Day Program, Child Care and Intergenerational Programming, Arbors Independent/Enhanced/Assisted Living, and Arbor Lane Memory Care. All these communities together offer a true continuum of care for our residents.  

 

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Provide direct care, snacks and meals
  • Assist in developing monthly calendar
  • Preparation, implementation and clean-up of daily programs (i.e. crafts, woodworking, games, music)
  • Assist the Director with participants individual case management

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Drivers liscence in good standing
  • 0-1 year of experience 
  • High school diploma/GED

Reccomended:

  • Vocational/Technical training or Associate Degree
  • One to Three years of experience
  • Ability to use Window/microsoft

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date. Accommodations requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
