Overview

 

  • This position is eligible for a $5000 Sign On Bonus!
  • Starting wage of $33.07/hour and guaranteed wage increase of $2.00 over the course of the first year of employment!
  • Additional pay when working evening shifts!

We are looking for a RN/Nurse. This nursing role would be responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the assisted living/memory care residents are met.   

Full-time nursing schedule includes;  

  • 64 hours in two weeks 
  • Day/Evening shift hours; Every other weekend and holiday rotation

The Shorewood Landing Senior Living is located in a charming community situated near Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota near the crossroads of Highways 7, 41 and 101. We offer 105 independent living, assisted living and memory care units. This newer distinctive senior community features the amenities and activities seniors love like a fitness center, theater and a roof top deck. Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Maintains current assessment and documentation using progress notes of resident health status
  • Implements new and updates current resident care plan
  • Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and getting orders as needed
  • Manages and oversees timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
  • Acts as support to Director of Health Services to fill in as RN on call during scheduled times
  • Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current MN RN license or by start date
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred:

  • Work experience in a health care setting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
  • Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
