  • This position is eligible for a $2500 sign on bonus! 
  • Starting wage of $18.00/hour and guaranteed wage increase of $2.00 over the course of the first year of employment.

Riley Crossing opened in 2019 and is one of our newest senior living communities located in Chanhassen, MN near Hwy 101 and County Road 212.  We offer Independent/Assisted Living, Enhanced, Memory Care, and our innovative on-site intergenerational childcare and interactive programming with our seniors  Managed by Ebenezer, our mission is to heal, discover, educate for longer, healthier, more meaningful lives.   


We are looking for an Child Care Teacher to support Ebenezer’s Intergenerational program by caring for and supervising the care of our children in their assigned age group. They will lead, plan and organize childcare program activities to ensure that the program provides the highest quality childcare available.

Child Care Teacher schedule includes;

  • 80 hours in two weeks; 10 hour shifts

  • We are looking for 3 Teachers:
    • Float 745-545 T-F
    •  Preschool Teacher 8-5 M-F
    • Infant Teacher 8-5 M-F

Responsibilities/Job Description

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum.
  • Develop and implementing weekly lesson plans
  • Assessing each child's development and administer Parent/Teacher conferences twice per year
  • Maintain a child friendly and orderly classroom
  • Implementing effective guidance and support strategies
  • Communicate with parents on child development issues, policies and other concerns related to their children
  • Report any concerns to the director regarding staff or classroom issues
  • Maintains confidentiality of records and information of staff and families
  • Participates in program areas such as intergenerational activities
  • Supervise health, safety and overall wellbeing of the children at all times
  • Maintain certification in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, SUIDS/AHT


Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree- Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota 9503.0032.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
1-2 years’ experience working with young children

Must be able to lift 40lbs.
CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification
