Overview

 The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU (transitional care unit/sub-acute) patients physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines.

 

· This is an On Call/Casual hours Nursing position

· Day/Evening/Night Shifts available with Shift Differentials for Evenings and Nights

· Required to work 3 shifts per month with one shift being a weekend and 1 holiday per year

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center is part of a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs, Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care for seniors.  We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital, conveniently located at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of care
  • Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • Provides data relevant to the development of the plan of care
  • RN – Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessary
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Qualifications

  • One to three years previous related experience preferred but not required
  • Associates Degree
  • Must have current MN RN licensure
  • AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR for Healthcare Providers or Professional Rescuers

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
